I have a Dell Latitude E6410 that i have been working on for the past 3 days non stop.I think I am almost there, I have flashed the most up to date BIOS, installed what I believe are the most useful Drivers (LAN WLAN, Multi Touch, ect).I am aware that this machine contains a: NVIDIA NVS 3100M - 512 MB Display Adapter.
I am starting to think that this machine does not, in fact, have any GPU. Dell Standard Vga Graphics Adapter Windows 7 And MaybeIn addition I have also thought this machine should not be running windows 7 and maybe converting to windows 10 would solve this issue. Are there any suggestions as of to what I might be doing wrong, or am I just poking at something that is completely not possible Any and all suggestions would be appreciated as im drinking a mug filled with unsweetened almond milk waiting for the next idea to go off in my head. ![]() Dell Standard Vga Graphics Adapter Drivers Instead ToHave you tried installing the Intel HD Graphics drivers instead to see if they get accepted to replace that Standard VGA Graphics adapter If so, then your particular E6410 doesnt seem to have an NVIDIA GPU. The top System informationsummary item should list the key hardware in your system, including GPU. Restart the system and at the Dell splash screen start tapping F12. Also, shout out to JPHUGHAN for the keen eyes who did find, that this pc that I have does not have the NVIDIA GPU Optional update.
